April 2025 Quilt Progress

Its hard to believe 4 months of this year have come and gone already. I guess what they say is true, "time flies when your having fun," and I have definitely been having fun making quilts this year. Setting a goal and holding myself accountable has made me want to really get things done. This months update will include some quilt finishes as well as some block finishes.

Vintage Christmas - I completed the next 4 blocks for this month. I am using my leftover HomeTown Holiday fabric from the Quilted Snowman Quilt to make this one. I will add laces to the skates and at least eyes to the deer before it is quilted.

Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge - There were 4 blocks released this month.

Cali & Co Mystery Block - there will only be one block released each month. I completed block 4 this month. I am using fabric from Corey Yoder's Cali and Co line.

A Quilting Life - I completed the April block. This block finish at 18 1/2" square. 

 Woven Star Quilt and Bitty Brick House - No new blocks this month. 

Sewing Themed Quilt Sew-a-long - This was a new quilt started last month that is being hosted by Erica Arndt from Confessions of a Homeschooler using her latest fabric collection. The designs each week are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see this quilt finished. With this being a weekly sew a long, there were 4 blocks this month plus the one I completed March 31st.

Jelly Roll Challenge - I got this one quilted after having to remove the stitches and redo.

East TN Shop Hop - I participated in a shop hop for East Tennessee back in 2024, but just got around to actually quilting on Miss Moxie. This is the final look.

I love the feather design!

Florida Shop Hop - participated in the Florida Shop Hop back in March. I took the easy way out and only quilted the panel. I just wanted something small to commemorate the trip.
