September 2025 Progress

Despite the fact that I was away from home almost half the month I was able to complete all my blocks for September although it did take me a couple days into October to finish them, which is why this is not posting until the 4th of October.

Rundown on the 2025 goals, which I am proud to say I am staying on top of:

Vintage Christmas - there were 4 blocks again this month. I am using the Hometown fabric collection scraps from when I made the Quilted Snowman.

Cali & Co Mystery Block - I completed block 9 this month using Corey Yoder's Cali & Co fabric line.

A Quilting Life - I completed the September block using Sherri's Raspberry Summer fabric collection, which is the same collection she is using. Since the blocks are 18 1/2" square, this is going to be a good size quilt when done. I'm excited to see the final layout for this, but that will not be until the end of the year as she doesn't reveal anything ahead of time.

Hometown Christmas - This project is by Sweetwater and I love the embroidery I am learning to do each month. Embroidery is new for me and I am starting to enjoy the process and wondering why I didn't try this sooner. There will always be 2 pieced blocks, a house block and an embroidery block.

Hoping to stay on top of my monthly blocks over the next few months to finish out the year, but it's going to be hard as we are starting some remodeling this month and it will take away some of my time as I am the painter in the family, but it will also mean a new sewing room layout as I move my space from one bedroom to another. Hopefully I will be able to post pics at end of month along with my block process.

Happy Quilting!
